Hi, can I make CC show me only the relevant servers for uploading my website project...right now I see all ... easy to get confused...

also: I have some folders on the server: image-files, admin, includes etc...

I told CC where to find these ... but still even though I choose say "image-files folder" in drop-down menu, I am shown 2 options: "root" (which is wrong) and "image-files below...

this is far from how I like it :(

any ideas??

Thank you

Are you saying that you can't use the advanced option to set up other folders on your server?

Hi Sky. When you make a project it will only upload to the server that you setup with the project. Check your settings by clicking "My Websites" tab then above where it says "Local Disk" click on the little folder. Now click on "Website Project Settings".:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Janys, Hi eric,

I hope it is not because (only) because of me ;)

Earnestly, I retried to open my website "InnerCoach" project by clicking on the .cpf (?) file in my files list...

I still get this when I upload, which is the server list for my actual 2 projects

and if I open say "InnerCoach DE Admin" I see "Root" and the correct location "html/innercoachDE/admin"

that is quite risky to upload wrongly...

any ideas?

Thank you

Dan

That list of servers will always be there. Your project will hold the proper server location in its settings which are in the location I described earlier. After you setup your project select the files you want to upload if you uploading multiple files then right click and click on upload selected files. If your only uploading one file then just right click on it.:)

Hiya skywalker,

Not sure why it would be opening the wrong folder for a website project unless it's user error :P It can only open what you tell it too though, so check to be sure you set the right folder as the project folder on your computer. I would suggest going to the folder, finding the .cpf file(s) and move them elsewhere for safe keeping and then resetup your project from scratch. Sounds like maybe it had the wrong info inputted, or maybe you have multiple .cpf files in the same location? Not sure what, but definitely I would reset it up.
