Yeah, that is only part of that I saw as old fashioned. Then the missing charset declaration and meta tags, and above all the nested layout tables.

Sorry guys but I just don't see the information I'm looking to edit. I see the index.asp file but when I open it, only part of the home page information is there, not all of what I'm looking for. I'm basically opening every single file I can in the HTML editor right now, trying to find where this text is.

If I open the website inside the HTML editor by using the "open from web" function, I see exactly what I'm after. I just don't know how to access that file/record from within my FTP access of the site folders. The text I want to edit is under a heading called <!-- content --> when I view this in the editor.

I get a feeling that the site must have been built with asp includes. That won't be visible for someone opening the source code on the web, but you should be able to find it on the server.

I'm not an 'asp' person, someone else might give you better advice here, but look in that www folder and see if you have a subfolder called 'includes' or something similar. I think you should be looking for some files called division_id=1 up to id=4.
But as I said, asp is not my thing...

Okay, I'm confused. I just used CCs HTMLEditor and 'Open From Web' on your site and the content you listed is listed there. Starting at line 88. You should be able to edit and change that content no problem.

Or did I miss something??

If I'm right about this being an asp include, it's not as easy as that. The contents will then have been pulled from an included file, and that is the file Rex has to find.

I agree! However, how do I know the name of the file I am editing so I know where to upload it back up to the site?

You seem to be dealing with a rather strange site structure. The text you quoted as being the one you want to edit appears identically in three different pages, which are also different files. Take a look at these pages:

Those three pages (files) have identical text, but differ with respect to the header image, which suggests that they are different files. For all I know there may be more than these three that have that same, identical text.
If you modify the text in one of those files, you obviously would need to update the other ones as well.

It makes no sense to me that the home page is identical to the 'Products' page, with the only exception being the header image.

The site does not seem to be very large and should be fairly easy and quick to re-do from scratch. Now might be the time to do just that - and eliminate the duplications in the process!

Just noticed Inger's post(s). Good advice! The presence of 'Includes' would certainly explain some of the strange duplication with only the header image being different.
