Y'all,

I have text boxes on my page that display properly on some computers on differently on others. I mean computers, not browsers, because they all run Windows XP SP2 and IE6. The ones that don't display properly, use a different font than the one I specified and the font size appears larger.

The page to look at is: http://www.palatinetravelers.org/games.html

Here's two screen captures for comparison.

What's causing this, and more importantly, how do I fix it?

Thanks,

Cal

The simple solution is to change the font. You are using:
Abadi MT Condensed Light
and even my new Vista machine sees the messed up version. Find a font that looks good and works on both machines, and chances are it will work for most everyone. Some fonts look nice, but they only work over the Internet if they are installed on the user's machine.
E-Learning Specialist
www.mainsites.ca is my website, and yes, some of it is crappy.

Using the ubiquitous Ariel font on the "Our Friends" page yields the same result.

So why sell the font packs if nobody else can use them?

Just as a follow up, I changed the first game in the schedule to Ariel and reduced the font size. Still munged text.

Other suggestions?
