Aww I just noticed that tabs on top thing, is there any way we can get that as a choice? I really love having them at the bottom instead of the top.

Also, you added the X for closing and took away the right click menu of the file tabs. I liked it much better the old way, and was actually hoping for more functions of the right click menu such as:

Upload
Download
Close
Close All Open Files
And other things that a normal right click menu would have on it like Open, Save, Save All, Etc.

Is there any way to choose a blank background for the program when no files are open? I really don't need to see the S-Drive advertising there. It's confusing when I'm working on a billion pages and I see something there and I assume I left a file open etc. I would rather have a blank background.

Love how the program now saves our toolbars! WOOT! That alone will save many many minutes of time over the years of reformats, reinstalls etc. THANKS!

Here's a screenshot that outlines the basic questions I have:

http://coffeecuphelp.com/jo/screenshots … itorss.jpg

1. What is this toolbar and why does it not let me put other things on it, move it, or add other toolbars next to it? If I try to put a custom toolbar next to it (number 2. on the screen shot since the default one that used to be there disappeared on me and won't return), it pushes the number 1. toolbar down or if I have the number 2 toolbar there and turn on the number 1 toolbar it pushes the number 2 toolbar down.

2. Can we please get multi row for open tabs? Without the left/right arrows to navigate the open tabs (of which I'd rather have multi rows any day but a choice would be nice), as you can see the X to close can be a little bit in the way. There are 68 pages open on this screenshot which I'm sure is excessive, but half of that amount, which I do open many times, is still very clumsy with the X and seeing what files you have open.
I would love the ability to have multi row with the ability to set how many we want per row.

3. This was the old original (well for the most part) toolbar that was above the local and server tabs in the old version. I'm almost sure it was there when I first installed this version, but I played with the toolbars at the top and didn't like it so I hit to go back to the Default, and it took that one away... bug? dunno, but I figured I'd put a new one there to take it's place.... see number 1 for the issues on this. For the moment I have turned off the Projects toolbar (number 1) which really makes no sense to me anyways as it seems more like an FTP toolbar than an editor toolbar.

That's it for now, I'm sure I'll find more as I play with it lol, and THANK YOU for taking the visual editor out!

1. That is not really a toolbar like the main navigation and it cannot be customized.

2. Not sure what our capabilities are there, but I will check into that one for ya.

3. That is all part of the markup issue you had. We did have a toolbar under the Code Editor and Preview Tab, but that was merged with the main toolbar when we removed those Tabs.

4. The S-Drive image is hard-coded and cannot be changed. We have always had an image there of one kind or another in every version. This one now has a pretty dragon. ;)

For this, where exactly in the program were you wanting the right-click enabled for this?

Hoping for more functions of the right click menu such as:
Upload
Download
Close
Close All Open Files

Thanks for the feedback Jo. I will see what we can do about some of those things.

My friend SirAge also said that as it shows up fine for him as well as the rest of the toolbars at default install, but here's the thing, it's not there for me and my toolbars are pretty strange. Sometimes they disappear when I open a file (main ones on the main toolbar area that is) and then come back when I change a tab to a different file. It's acting really weird and I think my install is just not right or something. Here's the proof though, that toolbar is not there for me in the 2nd screen shot below. The first one is a toolbar I created for myself, checked on for fist screenshot and off for second.

This is all related to the markup issue you are having Jo still. You have mixed settings between 12 and 12.5 and you most likely have the wrong files in the wrong folders. You need to purge all your markup folders and settings folders (both) and then re-install the software.

Just to let everyone know, this issue for me for the toolbars being messed up and hopefully a few other things has been fixed with the clean install (removed all Markup folders, theme folders etc after making backups of them. Saved also my Projects.ini file from the AppData area). We'll see how far it goes this time lol.

Right click on open file tab where we used to be able to close the tab rather than using the X (hate that X lol).

Another question... I am trying to figure out the purpose of making the Upload menu selection on the right click menu of the file tree into being an actual menu itself and making us have to move the mouse another step over to actually do our uploads of a file now? Hopefully that makes sense lol.

Used to be all we had to do was right click any file (or group of highlighted files) and choose Upload Selected Files. Now we have an extra step which doesn't seem to have any real purpose other than making us do an extra step lol. Just a bit more hassle is all, so I'm hoping we have features coming that don't show up yet? Otherwise I can't see a reason for it. Just an observation for the most part.

Ok...... The new update is brilliant, and the tabs are a great idea, just some thoughts on it from me...

At any given tab size, they start to 'shrink' when a lot of files are opened, and then expand as they are closed, which sort of defeats the object in a way...... As they disconnect from the mouse position, with the 'X' button on each tab always moving away from it.

One feature of permanently fixed width tabs, for me anyway, is the ease with which they can be shut down..... As the 'X' on each one will always sit under the mouse.

This feature is used in Google Chrome and it works very well. The tabs are opened and fill the tab area, when they reach overflow they shrink and shrink again as more open.......

Then the cool bit happens.....:)

Chrome locks onto that current overflow size at any point, enabling a rapid closing sequence using the mouse on the leftmost 'X' tab, and the tabs stay at that last shrunk size as they move to the left. They don't expand again as they close and move along.... Even if no overflow exists.

When reaching the last visible open tab, this tab then expands to the default size...

Would it be possible to have the tabs behave like this...... The mouse is almost default way of working for many......

If I am talking rubbish here, I apologise, am just thinking out loud and in no way critical. The tabs are great, the extra width is too, its the changing in size in two directions that strange.

I know all this stuff is not easy to do, and the work and changes made are brilliant.

One other thing......

Due to the way users can now edit the coffee.ini file, I have a short cut on my desktop and wondered, would it be possible to put an option in the custom icon area of the html editor, that would enable the ini file to be called up inside the editor.... And could be edited directly from there....

Regards
Peter
