I'm using Windows 7, and when I go to Control Panel and reach "uninstall programs," find Coffee Cup html editor, it says, "The software was installed under an account with administrator rights. You should log onto an account with administrator rights to uninstall this software."

Well, dang, I am the only one with administrator rights, and logged in under my name. Somewhere I'm missing a step. Or something.

Looking forward to a workaround so I can install the upgrade.

The article wasn't correct for me, on Windows 7 64-bit. There was no unwise.exe in C:\Users\[MyName]\AppData\Roaming\CoffeeCup Software. It was in C:\Program Files (x86)\CoffeeCup Software\, but apart from that, workaround 1 went just fine.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
