Problem running CC ver 6 on my 64 bit...

I cannot seem to find the answer to the reason that CC ver. 6 locks up for about 60 to 75 seconds when I save a file or begin to edit a html file. I did not have this problem until I purchased a new 64 bit computer. I have asked CC support several times, but they have not been of any help. I have been using CC for about 14 years and do not want change editort. Can anyone offer any help?
Thanks

First, CC does not support 64-bit systems. However, most users do not have any problems running CC programs on their 64-bit systems. What program are you trying to run?

That's what I used to say until I read this:

Having a dedicated 64-bit version only makes sense for applications that needs large amounts of memory (over 4GB). Since none of our applications require that much memory, nor are system resource intensive, a 32-bit version is more than adequate.

I have a Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Ultimate/64-bit with 4GB Ram and the Editor runs flawlessly. I have never once noticed even a second delay when using it. I would check your security settings, anti-virus, firewall, UAC and DEP settings and see if there is anything potentially causing problems.

Some of our application do not run at all under 64-bit and some do. We have updated each product's details page to reflect which ones do not.

However, we simply do not have a 64-bit versions of our software. They are still only 32-bit programs which can run on a 64-bit system.

So do you "officially" support the 64-bit system then?

We only support 64-bit for the products that say we do. There are just no 64-bit versions of our software.

Example:

Supported:

Not Supported:
http://www.coffeecup.com/sitemapper/download/
