I find the tools 'Test with (various) browsers' very useful and easy to use.

However, a lot of my stuff these days has php code embedded and when I ask to show a webpage in Safari or IE, what I get is an HTML listing of the page, rather than a browser rendering of it.

It seems to work OK with Opera, Firefox and Google Chrome.

From time to time the system sometimes invokes my php editor instead. (Dzsoft).

I have solved this by creating a temporary html version,or I can put it into my Apach2/htdocs folder and look at it there. But this is a little involved, and I would prefer to just use your utility.

Any ideas?

We have long since asked for exactly what you want. So far we haven't had any luck. In the meantime I use WAMP Server that I have installed.

I would suggest you post that in the HTML Editor suggestions thread too so that it's documented there. You are definitely not the first to ask for that, but many times the more voices heard, the sooner something gets attention :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
