Hi
My 1st time using the new version.... like the upgrade!
I got use to using the older version for years...i have a couple questions on previews on the new version.
I use win 7 (64) and Chrome as my default browser - i have Foxfire, Explorer and Safari as my alternate browsers... and i run some Extensions to let me see variations in resolutions and Iphone screens. (i like to test my changes to the CSS a lot...)
1st - What i'm seeing is that the preview split screen looks "much" different than the preview full screen. (from what i have read on the forum - the split uses your default...) but checking the split with full screen Chrome or Explorer - it's a whole lot different??
2nd - When using Explorer (not my favorite - but the world loves it) the screen image changes a whole lot from when the webpage starts and when you click "ok to run scripts"
Also is there a way to refresh the split screen besides F12 (open and closing split screen)
Any suggestiosn would be great..
thanks

preview - refresh - chrome
This may not be what you want but I have adopted to run my previews through a Wamp server. my default is Chrome and I can see what the page looks like in a simulated online situation. How I work it is to save the site within the www folder of Wamp.
This allows me to also test a form in placing the results in a database or csv file. it is possible to test emails but I choose to wait till the site is live for that. So what I do is load the page in localhost and switch between the editor and that. I use the split screen to see that I am close on the money. For fine tuning the positioning of an element/object.
When I switch to the preview in localhost I just refresh to see the changes. I do not suppose you include php in your pages but you can see the results when working on a php based page. that way you are using the Editor as a Php IDE.
I only offer this as my way of working on pages so others may differ in their use. I do use other included browsers to spot other problems then I use the inbuilt preview methods
