Photos display in browser but not in...

A few jpg images I began to work with today display in browsers but don't display as thumbnails in CoffeeCup's HTML Editor 2010 under either web projects or their file folder and also don't display in the preview window. The images also display in photoshop and irfanview

I'm a relatively new user of HTML Editor but never ran across this. I don't think this is a coding issue,
as their not displaying as thumbnails in the file list happens before coding takes place and they do display in firefox and seamonkey. (Haven't tested IE, but if they are visible in FF and SM, they should be in IE).

In the thumbnail file list view and in the preview window they display as small red Xs.

Any help will be most appreciated.

What format are you viewing your images as...jpg, psd, gif or what?

Could be a path problem, since they don't show up in the file list. Where actually are those images?

And if you have uploaded the site, please give us a link so that we can take a look.

Thanks for the replies.

Here's the url where I've posted the photos. (I uploaded the entire folder into a discrete folder on my web server using WS_FTP:) As you can see, every photo is displayed, indicating it's not a path problem.
http://www.panix.com/~etk/Surfing/SurfsUp/SurfsUp.html

However, HTML Editor displays only one of the five images: J2_Idea-1-600.jpg

I've attached two screenshots of what I'm seeing in the HTML Editor:
1. a directory listing with one of the photos selected and the thumbnail showing a red x
2. a directory listing with J2_Idea-1-600.jpg selected and the thumbnail showing the photo
Both also show the Preview view, displaying red x's. (J2_Idea-1-600.jpg is the last photo in the column)

These results are consistent when opening the site files in HTML Editor either as a web project or as a folder.

A second thought. A designer sent me these photos. Is it possible that they are protected in some way so they don't display in HTML Editor? However, they do display and are editable in photoshop and irfanview and display online, so that may be a wild guess.

I don't see the 5th image in the uploaded folder (J2_Idea-1-600.jpg), only the ones with no dashes, just underscores.

And in the two attached files I don't see any image, just red X-es.

Eric, Sorry for using large graphic files online. I just uploaded smaller ones.
However, your reminder got me thinking and I checked and noticed that all the files that
turn up with red Xs in HTML Editor are large. Is there a size limitation to displaying thumbnails
in the file list panel and images in the preview panel? If so, what is it?

Inger, The screenshot labeled "ScreenShotPreviewViewPhotoShown.jpg" shows the photo only in thumbnail (it's at the bottom of the list of files on the left). Red Xs appear in the View panel because
the first two photos in the html table are ones that are not visible to HTML Editor.

I don't know why you can't see the page online, it displays on my browsers and the browsers of a friend who viewed it from a different location.
