Why is this popping up when I try to edit a theme I've chosen? I am the only user on this computer as such I am the administrator. What is going on?

Hi Donna,
can you give a bit more information?
    What Operating System are you using?
    32 bit or 64 bit?
    Does it happen every time?
    Does it happen after closing and restarting the program again?
    Has it worked okay before?
    Does it happen on all themes or just one?
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

Hi Donna;

Just confirming you are using HTML Editor not the Visual Editor, and what is the name of the file you are trying to edit, I got a similar error some time ago when I inadvertently tried to "Preview" a page with a .txt extension.

I am logged on as administrator. Code editor displays fine as well as preview.

You need to be running at least Service Pack 3. SP2 is very old with a lot of security holes in it. You should definitely upgrade. That should also correct this issue as well.
