I don't see a bunch of your images on my iphone.
Looks to me that you have a lot of your elements touching each other and it's confusing the iphone browser. Make a duplicate of your page and try moving things around so they don't touch.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

might not be "the" problem, but there's no reason in the world any images on a site should be that big. Anyone with a slower than normal connection will leave your site before it even loads. Not a good way to set that up if you're planning to get visitors of all ranges, sizes and speeds. What Eric suggests is definitely something you should look into, that image is extremely large and slows things down for anyone with a slow connection. If you don't care well then I guess your visitors that leave won't either :P

Hi Todd,

Nice Site. I really dont own a iphone or ipad and tomorrow--kids watching netflix kiddi shows on the wii right now but tomorrow I will try to load it in safari. I believe the latest iphone and well the ipad both use safari correct? Anyway, I did some searches for you for iphone programming.

I imagine the article probably doesn't tell you much more than you already know. The site does show up in my windows system and as I said it looks nice. Just wanted to say Hi to you and wish I really could be a help--though I never did profess that I could.

If you do get this figured out would you share it with me -- Thanks...

Hi Danny,

opps called you Todd in the first one -- sorry...

Me again,

Hate to keep bothering you but if you haven't gotton it to work yet, would you try something for me? Reading other VSD entries I seen where this might work. Could you go into your VSD and load the site. Remove or delete the object for this graphic for me. Save and then exit the program. Start the program back up load your site and then place the image object back in? Keepin mind, for some reason objects touching objects could cause a problem, make sure the two other image object links are not overlapping this particulat image object--those two image objects being:

Save and upload the files to your web site.

Please let me know if this did anything at all -- like make it work :D

Otherwise we will together stumble on an answer for you.

Seems iphones/pads don't like really long images:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9046 … pad-safari

But that is one huge image (file size), and it won't load quickly for everyone, and as Jo Ann mentioned, not everyone will wait. I would assume the site was messed up and look elsewhere.

In VSD, you could set your page background to white and under Settings/Background choose the red color to extend on either side of the page. Now you'll have a speedy background that displays on all screens. The white will repeat to fill the page no matter the size.
Place optimized images for your logo and products on your page and you should be good to go.

Edit : Should this be in The VSD forum, or maybe Web Dev since it's also an iphone question? Anyway, it doesn't pertain to the HTML Editor ;)
