I have installed the latest edition of the html editor.

When I try to launch it I get:

"The following parser file could not be found: c:\Program Files (x86)\Coffee Cup Software\parsers2\html.tsm"

When I close the error box the editor starts. Then when I click close I get a box that says "Thank you for trying our software" with a button on the bottom that "order Now".

So, did the files get mixed up in the download area and I downloaded the trial version?

The file I downloaded is: HTML_Editor-Full-15.1.782.exe

I would try manually uninstalling and reinstall.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Scott,

No custom install, just did the regular install. I'll try Eric's suggestion of reinstalling and see what happens.

OK, a reinstall seems to have fixed whatever was wrong. Must have been one of those pesky hiccups when I installed the first time.

Thanks for the reminder Eric on reinstalling. I always forget to try that first.

Scott, I have never used a custom install on any software. The regular install always works for me. :D I do appreciate you asking as all help and suggestions are always welcome.

Mine is doing the same thing. I did a custom directory install the first time with no problem. The update went into the same place I thought after it removed the old one. I will reinstall again. Already tried that once. I would make sure it goes where you intended, however, it does not default there now that I have changed it in a prior install and I don't know where that should be now to be original.
We don't know what we don't know, except for this question it seems.
