keyboard shortcut to push to server

am trying to use the coffee cup editor as a php programming editor, which works fine (i like the code highlighting), and would like a quick and easy keyboard way to push the current file up to the server. currently, if i want to publish, i have to click File, Upload to File Server, NewTMC, Root, or Alt,F,U,Enter,Enter.

when coding, i might have about 100 edits to get what im doing right - all these keystrokes or having to use the mouse is very annoying...isnt there a quick and easy way to do this?

thanks

As Inger said but if you want to manipulate files or the editor for that matter check out Autohotkey. It is what gamers use to get an advantage by controlling the game by scripts. You mentioned you use php. I agree the editor does make a good IDE and used with Wamp it is a great tool. Anyway the Autohotkey syntax is easy to pick up and Hot keys is its forte and a script can be converted to executable for use by those that do not have the interpreter loaded. It is a fully capable programming language in its own right and GUI supported programs are possible. I have actually made a ftp program using it although there are other languages that do different things better. Horses for courses.
My List
Server Side >PHP my current favourite
External Program control > AHK
Data Reporting >Access
Machine Control >C
General Applications >VB
Web sites >HTML We mustn't forget that language

I cannot be 100% sure as I don't have it installed on my little netbook, but don't we have an F4 function for that now? Or was that something removed in an update?

Used to be we could highlight the files in the file tree of the program and hit F4 or Shift F4 or something like that and it uploads for you automatically. Give it a try?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
