I just bought the PAID version of HTML Editor since my trial was going to be up in a couple days anyhow. But my question is do I now overwrite the "existing Trial version" with the Paid version or will I need to manually uninstall the old version before installing the new one?

If I uninstall the old one (I'm currently using Windows 7-64 bit) how can I make sure the old trial version is completely off of there in case of a conflict?

I don't want to go about this all wrong so hopefullly someone can help.

Also when I went to buy it, I thought previously I'd registered when I first downloaded the trial version. At least I found an email that suggested this. But perhaps I was wrong because the email address was not recognized in their system so I had no choice but to register as if I was new to CoffeeCup. Hopefully this won't complicate it further.

I'm not 100% sure but I think when you try to install the paid version it will detect that there is a version already install and ask if you want it uninstalled. Give that a try and see if that happens. If not then go back and uninstall them both and reinstall the paid version. It should uninstall it for you though. Let us know too for future reference.
