Hi Chuck
I do understand the advice but thanks for spelling it out again - I've made a note not to switch between code and visual editors. In fact, I'll hide the visual editor tab so that it can't happen again.
I had not noticed this behaviour before this upgrade - and I would have noticed if it had given the sort of web updating that I do.

Hi Bronwyn,
Yeah, I've had my Visual Editor tab hidden since the first time I discovered this somewhat-disappointing aspect of the HTML Editor and the fact that the tab could be hidden!
Good luck to you in your web adventures!

This isn't a new issue though Bronwyn, it's always been like this, never has been compatible to switch between them, I'm guessing you just didn't do the same things on your site that you are doing now and therefore the code didn't seem to change before is all. It definitely did it before though, it's not a new side effect at all.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree Jo Ann as I haven't changed my work process at all since I started doing the web work that I do (nothing fancy in it either as I try to keep it easy and simple)...

"we" as in Jo Ann and I...it's never been an issue for ME before this upgrade - I'm not saying this is not the case for other people...I was only speaking from MY experience...
Sticky #1.

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Bruzer, I edited your image link to remove the image tags I hope you don't mind. I love your new error message theme, looks awesome, but... when I came to this thread it made me have to click a signin box saying I didn't have access lol, to this thread? confusing, so I removed the image tags and people can just click the link

Ok I quoted the original reply about this by Tassie and added a link to the post to the CC article that addresses this issue and sticked it on a new post so this one isn't stickied anymore. Hopefully it helps at least a handful that actually check out the stickied posts lol. But it should at least pop up on a seacrh ... I hope.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
