Issues since upgrading? - Post ID 122671
I recently upgraded my HTML editor to build 321 as per the recommendation of the email I received but have noticed some quirky instances in my original project since doing so. Using the older version, I was able to link to existing pages by just typing the name of the page and then the name of the directory the page resides in if applicable.
With the new version, I noticed it's added the complete directory path in the href tag (for example- file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/thomsg/My%20Documents/webhelp/Clinical/Lab_Diagnostic_OtherOrder.html).
Why is it doing this? I've also noticed some additional tags that were not in the code when I originally created it, such as each bullet list starting with <li value="0">. My original tag to start a bullet list was <ul><li> and it appeared to work fine????

This is an issue we were just made aware of and it has been fixed about 10 minutes ago. The problem had to do with spaces in the directory name.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. Can you give me the link where I can download the upgrade?
Click on Get Support in the purple toolbar above and then My products and the latest version should be there if you have purchased the software previously.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.
got it, thanks
Hmmm, not sure this bug has been put to rest. I installed the latest version and I noticed all the extra characters dissapeared....but....they come back. It seems that when ever I close the application and open it again the directory appears. If I save the file it dissapears but for some reason, it's leaving an "f" in front of the file name the href tag.
has anyone else noticed this?

Sounds odd Geoff. Best put in a Support Ticket I think.
