OK, after going through a few back and forth messages from support, their patience with Peggy and myself in breaking through our (mostly mine) gray matter finally resulted in success!

The key to this is to ensure that we creating a website project, meaning (My Websites> New Website Project) and filling out the requested information for each site we will be working on.

I deleted everything in the projects file including the folder itself (after first copying them out to another folder on another drive so we would not lose the code).

Then started from scratch using the help file on "Working with website projects" as a tutorial (as suggested by support) and low and behold everything worked as advertized!

I believe the fault was mine because I created the files and folder, then copied the images into that folder from my photo drive expecting CC to figure it out as we are using the dependencies for now until we become more familiar with code and how CC works.

So the key here is if we are going to work with dependencies you must follow that tutorial.

I am amazed at how patient support (Orlando) was in getting this information into my pea sized brain.

Thanks for you help as well. I am impressed with this forum the more I see and use it.

Glad you got it working. I might try playing around with it. Like I said I've been manually adding them anyways.:)

I recently found that the editor (at least in version 2010) doesn't automatically pick up image size (width and height), or the path/file name, if I want to go in and re-edit an image tag. I'd really like to see that offered, and I'm going to suggest it in the proper thread. (I discovered this when I'd written out the code, but didn't know the image size.)
