Hi
Today I downloaded the new IE8 beta and start working with to check the changes and what affects my site.
One of my sites showed the center aligment was not doing well and the layout was a little bit different (I think CSS problems).
The CC site (this I'm posting) is not showing the menu strip properly, the items have two lines but space for only one.
Maybe I will need to change some settings. But what I wanted to ask to CC people is if they know what is happening and if the final version of HTML Editor 2008 is updated with this new IE8.
Thanks
(by mistake I post this at wrong place (Graphic Software) and I decide to maintain and repost here, the correct place, sorry people!!)

Hello Jimmy,

Unfortunately our developers have not had the oppurtunuty to work with IE 8, but when it releases they will see what they can do to make it IE8 compatible.

Thank you,

Hi
Just for information. Now I can see my pages OK because I change the DC TYPE from strict to transitional. The IE8beta is working good but some pages are seen with small problems (specialy with sizes). For example the violet menu bar of this CC page it is not showing correctly.
Orlando, if you want a print screen i can send to you.

Jimmy,

You are using a browser that is in beta test. Have you told the IE8 developers about the problems?

I think the page sums up IE 8 pretty well ;)

Billr
I didn't told anything to microsoft because their page, Hotmail do not show the messages pretty well and I'm not very pleased with Microsoft policy changing standarts everytime. I installed IE8 only because I want to be prepared when I do my pages. I have Opera, Firefox and Safari installed and I'm an amateur doing this, I'm e real sailor, a little bit advanced but an amateur.
But you are right I should advise them and when I made the last post I just want to help or colaborate.
And finnaly, with or without IE8 I'm waiting for HTML Editor 2008 final release, I realy like this :).
