HTML Editor - Toolbars/Tabs keep...

After I install HTML Editor, all of my toolbars/tabs are present. After I close it and re-open, several of the bars/tabs disappear - the buttons in the projects tab, all of the buttons below the three tabs that allow you to change views, and several others.

When I reinstall, I get them again, only once. Any suggestions on what going on and how to keep all of the functionality?

Thanks

Hi. Any chance you can provide a screenshot?
Have you contacted CoffeeCup help and started a support ticket?
and
A little more info please:
Operating System?
Older computer?
Did you download directly from CoffeeCup?
Has this ever happened with any other programs?

Clff,

Thanks for responding.

I am using Vista on a brand new computer. Yes, I downloaded the software from CoffeeCup. This is the first time this has happened. It did it with the trial version and now with the full version.

I am attaching a screen shot as a jpeg.

Just realized that after I close the program, it assumes I am using the trial version instead of the full version.

Any suggstions?

I uninstalled the software, re-downloaded and then re-installed. It doesn't think I am using the trial but the results are the same.

I see what's hapening thanks to your screenshot.

Don't think I've ever heard of this issue before, but one thing to have a look at is to see if you are using a custom DPI setting.
In Vista, open your control panel and type in DPI in the search bar. It will give you a direct link to view your dpi settings. 96 is the 'normal' and some Coffeecup software work best at that normal setting of 96dpi. If it's already set to 96, don't change it.

Another thing to try is right click beside a toolbar. Choose 'customize' and the window that shows up should have a "reset" button. Try that and see if it fixed it for you. Also make sure you have a checkmark in the "main toolbar" section.
Then, on the "options" tab of that same window, have a look to see if your toolbars are set to have an animation. If there is none, choose one from the drop down list. With any luck this will force the toolbars to open with an animation so they are visible.

If all this fails, send a support ticket to CoffeeCup using their support tab on coffeecup.com

Good Luck

Craig,

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried everything and no change in results. I have opened a ticket and am awaiting a response. Once a solution is found, I'll post it so others that may have this problem in the future can benefit.
