I working on a new CSS menu and when I want to insert it in the page you get the chance to "save", "Don't Save", or "Cancel". I click on save and it never gives me a chance to save it as a custom named menu. It inserts the code and generates the files in the default "css/menu-menu.css" and by passes the save as option. I've created custom named CSS menus before. I'm perplexed.:/

I'm trying to post an attachment, but for some reason it won't go. Anyway, when you have the menu design window open with all the main menu, submenu etc open, at the bottom of that you have a SAVE button. Clicking that lets you choose a name and a location for the menu. You must have overlooked that. ;)

Then, after clicking OK in the same window, you get this smaller window with the three options you mention, and clicking SAVE there just inserts the menu.

Hi Inger, That just saves the .mnu file to be able to edit the css menu later. I can make that any name I want and it doesn't have to be the same as the menu CSS code it's self. That part works fine.:) Do you get a chance to save the menu CSS to a location of your choice when you click save in the small window?

If I didn't save in the first window, then I get those options when clicking save in the small window. Otherwise, it just inserts the menu.

It must have something to do with the very first time I saved the new menu because I still don't get the option to save it to the location of my choice and rename it. If I create another menu and do as you say I get the save as option. It must be a built in feature to preserve the location of the css and the name structure for the menu to make sure it works right. I'll just create a new menu. Thanks for the insight Inger.:)

Inger, I'm blind today. In the menu design window at the top you can name your menu in the guess what "Menu Name" box.:D

Isn't that always so?

If I have a problem, I also let someone else take a look. We seem to be blind to our own mistakes but able to spot those of someone else (I didn't mean to be biblical here...)

I'll get back to you when I've got entangled in some code... ;)
