I use windows7 64bit, and I have checked for any settings in Norton that are targeting the HTML Editor, there are none.
All I can say is that the editor is the only victim and it doesn't happen with any other programs.
No other programs are being run as administrator.
I do apologise for a crass remark, but somehow I felt my query wasn't being listened to, and just had a copy and paste fob off.
Maybe I had a bad day!
I know the programming is a big thing for you all, but I still think something's not right with it
