My guess is that you're trying to upload to the wrong place. Check the server setting for the remote folder and see what you have it set to in VSD. Some servers need it to be /public_html/ or public_html/ (note the missing beginning forward slash on the second choice) or www or ftp it just depends on the server itself. Check with GoDaddy and see what the server requirements are for remote folders and check to be sure you have the right one in there.

Servers are all different so one may need the public_html/ while another needs www just depends on the server.
