Hi, I noticed some of the tags in for HTML5 is not recognised yet by the HTML Editor. One example is the hgroup tag. Is there a way to add to the tags that appear in the code window. Thanks.

This is not a bump (edit post poops out). Forgot to say that some of the tags are not supported by HTML5. Example is the tt tag, so how would I delete it from the tags in the code section.

Open note pad and type this,

"hgroup", "<hgroup", "</hgroup>"

Now do save as and select save as type all files

Browse to this location
C:\Users\"Your actual user name"\AppData\Roaming\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup HTML Editor\Markup\HTML5\

Save the tag as hgroup.tag

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi,

To edit the tags you go to Tools - Preferences - Customization tab and click on Open Markup library. In there you'll have to open the html5 folder.

Thanks Eric and Inger. Just by chance, I found an easier way to edit the tags under Edit>>>Add/Edit HTML Tag Markup. Also I used it to get rid of that tt tag lurking within the HTML5 tags ... unless I had 4 selected by mistake instead of 5 :o
