once I create a table how do I move it ? I need it to go under my banner.

If you mean you want the table below the banner, I think the best way is to place the banner first, and then if the cursor is at the top of the page, click Enter a couple of times until you get below the banner. Then create the table. If you have got too far down the page, just click backspace until you have the table where you want it.

I never use the Visual mode myself, so there might be other ways that I don't know about to achieve what you want...
