I need to fix this urgently as I have taken down my old site and thought uploading the new site would only take a few minutes and its now nearly four hours later and counting and I still don't have my site back up.

I'm uploading through html editor and I finally got the files to upload into the right folder and I can see them there but I'm just getting the directory page showing when I type in the url and the files don't seem to be showing there. I've tried re-uploading the index page and still no luck.

I had my virus protection off when uploading and I have managed to upload a different site before onto a different host so not sure why this one is so much trouble.

Any ideas anyone?

Ah..its okay...I solved it. For some reason it had created a second /public_html folder and uploaded everything to that. All fixed now hopefully.
