I really need to change the "from" field to read something different when the form results are e-mailed out.

Currently, the e-mails say, From: CGI-Mailer.

How do I change this. Help!

When you hit reply to the message it will go to the person who filled out the forms e-mail address.

This form I'm working on is meant to be anonymous. Users can enter their name if they wish, and the results are e-mailed to a few people. Some of these people want to change the "From: CGI-Mailer" that appears in the box when they receive the form results.

Is it possible to change this?

Unfortunately no. You can however modify the PHP script if you are brave and tweak it.

This is ridiculous. I either have to get the "From" changed or I'll find other software. Didn't I pay for this??

Are you aware that you are posting in a 5 year old thread? If you're having trouble with the form builder, maybe just ask a question or tell us what the problem is rather than just say it needs fixing lol. Are you having the same problem? I don't even know if this problem exists anymore for that matter as it's had so many updates since then. Give us more information to help you with rather than writing it off on the first post you ever make lol.

Page 37 of the help file discusses this very subject, right there in black and white. Try it. It works.
