I think the search code should be placed between the body tags so you can place it in its own <div> and have control of its position.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

It is not CC html editor that is causing the problem, I pasted your code into Dreamweaver this morning and all I got was the loading message when using the internal preview, when I used preview in Firefox the script ran straight away.

Have you tried it on an uploaded page yet?

Remember you are looking at a page on your local pc so when using the internal preview and you have external links there is always going to be a delay.

I did the same thing with Notepad and saved as HTML and it still work fine.

I concur with Jim on the page loading stuff within the editor. I too have some scripts for external music players on a few sites and if I have that script in the page at all it will not allow the page to load in the preview window at all. Some scripts just take over I guess lol. Give it a shot and see if it uploads correctly as Jim said. Hopefully that's all it is is a script just taking total focus is all. Makes for messy editing when you need to see things right away but....

What I did was just do a quick "comment out" of the script when editing things so the page would load in the preview, then took out the comment code when I was done. Works well that way for me. Hope that helps... providing of course that the script works and all is well other than the preview issue :)
