Error using and exiting

Hello,
I find that using either forms of preview will eventually cause the program to stop responding with long intervals of having to wait for the program to 'catch up'.
Also when I exit I get this error
Access violation at address 005CB4AF in module 'coffee.exe'. Read of address 00000000

If I dont use the preview function during a session it appears to behave - no reponse issue and clean exit!

I'm using a intel(r) core(tm) i5 cpu m 460 @ 2.53ghz with 8GB of RAM

Few quick questions, I assume you are using the Windows version and not OSX. Do you have the most recent version of HTML Editor (v12.7 Build 456)? And are you running as 'Administer'? This seems to fix a few problems with some programs under windows. Also, have you opened a 'support ticket' yet? Use the menu option at the top for Support, then select 'Your Support Room'. They may be able to address this better.

Also, do you have anything that is being pulled from the web on the pages? Like a google map, you tube video or similar?

Hello Inger and Co,
Sorry didn't notice the support ticket process - but to answer these questions now
- I've downloaded 456 and run as administrator. I would have IE up with active pages but not running videos - but may have had the odd map open.
However this appears to happen all the time I use preview and I'm sure I've rebooted and only run Coffee Cup to see if it's a resource issue.
I just test Irfanview and did some editiing to see if I have a widespread grahics problem, but this test past my editing?

I'm having the same problems. Another issue is when using Ctrl-Z to undo changes. Try using it for multiple, consecutive undo changes - the program locks up.

Yeah, you seem to have the same problem, kind of.

But Patrick, you seem to have your files in the Dropbox. Try saving them to your own machine and see if the same happens then.

Maybe that is a good programme, but I don't like download sites which are not up front about the price. In this case you have to download and install the programme, let it run and of course find lots of errors, and then, when you want the programme to fix them, you first have to register, and then, and not before, you are able to see what it costs.

Sorry, what I was trying to get across is that they may need to run a registry fixer and/or other 'clean-up' program. You could use ccleaner which is free. http://www.piriform.com/blog/2013/2/25/ccleaner-v328

I would suggest a clean re install then run Ccleaner as Gunsmoke suggests. Programs sometimes exhibit strange behavior when influenced by other programs. Use Ccleaner to check what programs are loaded at start up and disable not delete those that do not have to.

It is a matter of checking bit by bit as the program does work how described on 1000's of machines across all Op.Systems. I think you also need the latest IE loaded for best results.
