Hey guy's, i'm currently reading through CSS3 : The Missing Manual, thanks to Jo Ann :) , and i've run into a linking problem on my site, i'm using XHTML 4.01's way of linking my style.css, but it isn't showing up..
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet/style.css">

I'm not sure why it isn't, i'm creating the same pages that are in the book but using my own code to format a new style that I can use for a gaming site as well :).. can you guys see whats up?? Link to below

Is the style.css inside a folder called stylesheet? Or is there a plural s somewhere?

No the file paths are all correct, it's in a folder called "stylesheet" and "style.css" is within the folder. I attached a pic

It is working. :) You just need to learn to spell background in your style.css.

Also you have a header style that is overwriting your style sheet. Remove that style from your header, correct your spelling error and it should work just fine. :)

Again? Honestly, Matt, the w3 consortium is not likely to adapt the css specs to people's spelling errors. :P

I hate to disappoint anyone here with spelling corrections, but if you do charge me $20 for correction errors you will have people coming out of the wood-work correcting me rendering the $20 into merely pennies. It wouldn't be worth it to collect any charge of merely pennies unless you are working Wall Street and have a million accounts. If you include the Responsive Layout Editor with the $20 I think I will shape up my spelling and become one of the greats of web design. Thank you for your offer but I shall decline the $20 and continue to MiSSpELL mY WURdS
