Hi Neil,

The Editor freezing, as you describe, is very unusual and should not be a reason to 'look for another good editor'. I suspect it has something to do with your particular setup or something 'strange' associated with those particular pages you are having problems with.

Do you have a link to any of those particular pages that you could share so somebody in the user community here could take a look and maybe suggest some solution?

Do you have many scripts on those pages? References to (e.g.) Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, etc...?
If so, could you temporarily comment those out, one by one, to try and isolate the problem?

Yeah sounds like a script issue to me too. Many times when you have really slow loading previews or having issues only when the preview windows are open that's a sign of some script you have inserted into your code that is causing issues. Usually it doesn't cause issues with the site itself or loading of the site, but it will cause issues in pretty much ANY editor you try to use.

Try Per's suggestions and a link would be helpful as he already mentioned too. :)
