Code Help (Attributes) Disappearing...
All,
For lack of better terminology when updating existing code, such as <span style=####> I used to have a drop down box that appeared and I could select the next part of the code and so forth and so on. I restarted my PC and not you can see the drop down for a second and it disappears. Has anyone else had this issue on HTML Editor 10? I haven't worked up the nerve to download and install 12 yet.
Has anyone else ever ran into this issue?
Thanks,
Jared

I would suggest you download the newest version and see if it still does it. I don't have this problem at all, but I would suggest you get away from the old truncated code style and learn a bit of CSS if you haven't yet. Much more efficient. Either way though, download the newest version and give it a try that way. If it's still giving you issues open a support ticket and see if the CC team can give you a hand on that.
Well it is really not about knowing or not knowing CSS...lol...it's about the fact that it pops up and disappears before I can select the style types...I might update the editor tonight...just don't know why it shows up then disappears. For example...even if I was updating a CSS style sheet...the code still pops up and disappears...that is the real issue. But it may be something on my PC...as I restarted it and now HTML editor is acting weird. Been using it for years and I don't know why this is happening now.
Not sure why it would just up and start doing that either. Try another reboot? Clear your temp files? Not sure what else to tell you other than that. If it was working fine before the reboot, try another reboot and see if maybe something just got quirky for a short bit.
Found a fix for this issue (At least one that worked for me) ! For Laptop Users at least...
The thing to look for is if your ALT + TAB to switch screens stops working or pops up and disappears.
1) Shut Down
2) Remove the Laptop Battery
3) Power up WITHOUT THE BATTERY, power cable only.
4) ALT + TAB worked again...and so did the CODE COMPLETION...
5) Put the battery back in
6) Power Down/Power Up
Everything is back to normal...well with a little less sanity...
