code cleaner question

I have a question about changing case using the code cleaner.

In previous versions of the HTML Editor, I've had intermittent problems when using the code cleaner to change tag and attribute case from uppercase to lowercase, or changing from, say, HTML 4.01 to XHTML 1.0 or HTML5.

In the current version, I can't find / remember how to have the code cleaner do either one.

I have files output from LibreOffice Writer as HTML 4.01 Transitional. It outputs all tags as uppercase, doesn't always quote attribute values, and in general, like MS Word, does a very poor job of outputting HTML.

I'd really prefer to have the code cleaner do this automatically. But it doesn't appear to be doing this.

Help, please.

At this time, the HTML Code cleaner in my opinion is not working correctly. For now, I am using http://infohound.net/tidy/ to clean my code. It works rather well.

Drat, infohound.net is down. I'll try later. Looks like I may need to hunt up a tool. Still, thanks, SirAGE.
