I've tried doing a quick search in the forums and maybe there is an answer buried deep into a thread but I cannot find one.

Anyway, is there an option to create a favorite or commonly used ribbon in the Characters Tab? Something similar to that in Microsoft Word when you insert symbols there is the ribbon that has a list of your latest inserts.

In my genealogy program they also have this option which is quite beneficial when using umlauts. This would make having to scroll through the whole list each time I need an accented character much easier as I only need to use a certain number of characters.

Does this already exist?
