Good Day,
Can I change the HTML Editors background color? I do not mean the background of a HTML document. Form the default white to a darker color?

Thank you,
Russell

Yes you can! Got to Tools/Preferences then Customization then Modify Highlighting. Once there you can set your foreground/Background colors. :D

Much obliged Gunsmoke.. That's exactly what I was looking for. I viewed that Modify Highlighting panel before and completely missed it. It was only staring me in the face.. LOL. I'm getting old ... :-) Take Care..

Hi,

This works well for HTML files but not for Javascript files which it treats as text files and therefore doesn't colour the different parts of the code. Also, I cannot seem to change the background colour for css files.

Do you know how to change these two background/highlighting options please?

regards
Rob
