Well don't just wait 3dy, put suggestions in if you haven't already (probably have, I probably read them but I read things all day lol). If they don't know what you want, you won't get it and just a thread here doesn't do the trick as they sometimes get lost in the shuffle. Put something in the suggestions thread for HTML Editor so they will see it when they are looking for them

Well, that's late.
They advertised CoffeeCup HTML Editor the first time when I submitted a ticket and told me just to upgrade (I was using the Free one). I expected them to show more interest and the only slightly useful answers came from you, community members.
I don't want to use the program anymore, as it doesn't suit my needs. Having a 30-day free trial is useless, as it doesn't affect the support (you can only post in forum if you buy a product, right?).
PayPay closed the claim and it seems that they will remain with my money (just great - it's not enough to be in a country where no credit card is accepted by this damn PayPal). Awesome.
All right, guys, you have now one unhappy user. Like you care.

Actually they do care 3dy. The free and trial versions do have some limitations in them, after all, what would be the point to having a paid version if there weren't benefits to it.
Support would of course assume you've used the "trial" version to be sure it's what you wanted. The issues you are having would also be there in the trial version which leads me to believe you didn't try it out long enough to know. The key words here are that the trial version is not the same as the free version.
To be honest, you came here on your first post with a bit of an attitude to start with and trust me when I say that attitudes don't breed assistance in many cases. I'm sorry you've had problems with it, but so far nothing you've stated is anything that is "wrong" or needs fixing with the program, just things that don't work as you expect them to and trialing the product first would have told you that before you spent your money.
Good luck in whatever program you decide to use, but please realize that bashing CoffeeCup here for your mistake isn't a wise decision on a user forum full of very loyal customers. Have a great day.

Frankly I find 3dy's posts a bit confusing in places.
A link to one of his/her's websites would have been nice, I wanted to se a website that doesn't use line breaks.

I just searched google for 3dy.ro design and came up with his site, I particularly liked the one site in his portfolio that starts with a statement from the host company warning that it may be taken down at any time.

@Jo Ann
It sucks for me. And I really don't care if I have attitude.
@Zipper
Yeah, you're right, it's not like you can define spaces by CSS margins too, right?
@david wilson
The sites are just created by me, I'm not maintaining them - no designer does, unless it is requested.
Also, I don't think it's your business. I've never said I'm a professional - I started about 3 years ago to learn those things. CoffeeCup is the first text editor I purchased, and the worst thing I've ever done in the last 3 years (related to design).

I find it pretty funny that you say you've used CoffeeCup's HTML Editor for 3 years, and have never noticed that little issue with the keyboard shortcuts till now. For someone that claims he uses them all the time, that's pretty strange don't you think?
I also find it strange that someone would use what they consider an inferior product for 3 years. I'm guessing it's not inferior to you at all, you just are having a bad experience with something and taking it out on CoffeeCup's software.
And it's very obvious that you don't care about your attitude. I just wonder if you care about how others treat you because of it. Obviously people will tend to respond in kind and if you were actually looking for assistance, you'd be hard pressed to find it here with an attitude like that.
One more thing that I find strange, you say you built the sites, no one maintains them so they are still your work right? So if you're getting warnings on them, it's because of what you have done since no one else maintains them lol. I think you've hurt yourself more than helped yourself on that comment lol.
Anyways, I'm done here, there's no reason to carry on this conversation for me, have fun with it anyone else that cares to bother. Have a great day 3dy, although I'm doubting you have any of those.

Maybe I misunderstood your site where you state you design websites on your services page. Frankly it is my business, I am a professional, I provide graphic and website design services, as well as business consulting, while maintaining a 3.76GPA as a College student/tutor.
"I know to (and I consider myself good at) create websites," I'm glad you consider yourself good at it, since none of your pages are valid code I am unable to support your assumption.
As I said, I am a professional; that means that not only do I actively increase my own knowledge and skill, but I give back to the community be helping others. I don't see either of those qualities in your work or postings.
3 years of learning and this is where you are, stomping your feet and screaming do what I want or I'm going somewhere else.
If you don't like my attitude, well hell, you can pack up your empty portfolio, your dull in inspired design, and your busted ass code and find a nice quiet piece of the internet to sulk in; however, if you choose to ratchet down the attitude and be open to learn from people who have been there than you will find this a quite friendly, and helpful experience.

Just drop it. Some of you love the program and some of you don't. What is the point of continuing this discussion?
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
