Call program from a HTML program

I am trying to find a way to call a program from a html page. Onload preferred, Onclick, blur etc.
I have created the php to gather simple statistics on a web site and find that any program that I looked at actually gathers info on yours as well as giving stats to you.

Creating the program is easy but I need a trigger for it. It will require an insert unless someone knows of a common server trigger. I can't look at logs as sites vary in what they make available.
I am reasonable at html but I have not cracked a way yet. One option albeit a bit of overkill is to put the php on the page and change the extension. I am hoping for a simpler method I can use.

I will give the finished version to anyone who solves it for me,
I have attached a program to demonstrate whats possible. It will only work in Wamp or online

I would take a look at Click Once
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

Hmm! different subject I did post a possible method that I hoped would get a solution, anyway moving on. I am trying to start a parallel script at the same time a page loads.
I had a look at that method Eric means a change of language it seems, It has been years since my C days. I have looked at javascript methods but it means inserting code internally. I think I will add to the top which I can in the Editor. It will be incremental not in parallel though.

The code that was removed would give details of a server and present page details I thought that would be of interest. What you see of a site is the wrapper what goes on beneath is the interesting bits ;)

Who wants Site stats without o'heads. Yours truely

Anyway got a solution I shall tidy it up. Anyone want to try contact me. I take no responsibility in the total meltdown of your server.Only joking, your computer fails way before that happens. If I get this finished it will be quite neat. There will be copies for my friends, friends, where are my friends , anybody!

There is nothing quite like it when at the finish of your rendition you get great applause, till you realise that you are being applauded cause you have finished.
