The following step-by-step instructions will show you how to install HTML Editor Themes.
1. Download your HTML Editor Themes from your Customer Care Center.
The themes will be in ZIP format.
2. Make sure HTML Editor is closed.
3. Extract the XML file and the accompanying folder in the theme ZIP files to the desired location on your computer.
4. Open HTML Editor and use the Files tab to select the folder where you unzipped your themes. The window beneath the one you used to browse your computer will display your theme files.
5. Double-click the page you wish to edit, such as index, about-us or contact-us. It will open in the Code Editor, and you will be able to modify it normally.
I recently bought some themes for HTML Editor when you were doing the theme deal when the Shopping Cart Creator was released. I downloaded the themes when they were zip files, but then last week, I noticed they were put into installer packs (HTMLEditor-AfterTwilightThemePack-3.1, HTMLEditor-BrightSideThemePack-3.1, HTMLEditor-SophisticationThemePack-3.1 and HTMLEditor-EssentialsThemePack-3.1), but when I ran the installers, they get put into the Templates folder instead of the Themes folder. Is there a way around this? Maybe if CoffeeCup re-releases these packs, you may want to change the path for each installer, that way CoffeeCup HTML Editor will pick the themes up in its themes window! It's only a suggestion, but seeing as the Templates option has been taken out of the program and replace by Themes, I think it is only fitting the installers put the files in the folder they should be in. Thanks in advance!
