This problem has been persistent at least across the past three releases. I just got tired of it ....

If you make (a lot) of cut changes in a master file, without saving but making paste/saves in other files, and then hold down the Control-Z key to do a massive and rapid un-do in the master file, the application locks up after it apparently completes the last un-do.

I do this fairly often, copy/cut & pasting sections of a master file over to other files {this may be part of the process problem} and then restoring the master file.

Possibly, in the meantime instead of massive CTL-Z restores, just open your master file again and CC will ask you if you want to reload the file from the drive.

or

create snippets from the code you are re-using and you don't need the master file open at all.

I do not think that issue has ever been reported to our support staff. I was able to recreate the issue on our end and will submit this to our development team.
