In the EU the Cookie Law is a piece of privacy legislation that requires websites to get consent from visitors to store or retrieve any information on a computer, smartphone or tablet.

I have started looking at this subject again now that GDPR is here.

My question is does Bootstrap generate cookies?

I've done a bit of research.

To find out use Chrome Developer tool > application > cookies

Bootstrap possibly does not but something in the site probably will such as using a script from cloudflare.

So probably a cookie warning is required.
