Wonder why that is and why Windows even made that feature - seems useless to me but I guess it's good for parental controls <shrug>

I dunno why tney made it either, to me that and the DEP are the 2 most annoying and useless features they ever did to windows when they brought out Vista and now 7. I just got used to setting all my programs to run as administrator and call it good :)

I never have to run as admin and never have problems with any app.

Same here Tom. I still think it has to do with the hardware config/manufacturer (had asked people to provide info on this win WIN7 first came out, but no one seemed interested). It's strange that one person has to, and another doesn't.

If I'm logged in as the Admin - it should just run items as admin and I shouldn't have to click "Yes" each time I start a program. - stupid.
