I don't required the editor features so i shifted to FTP Mode only but then i realized that i cannot see the ftp queue. Also when in dual mode with queue, the queue is not upto the mark. For eg. i tried to select multiple entries in queue but that was not working...

Overall the software is good with clean and easy interface but still some stuff is missing. If you can put it in.

I'm not sure what you mean by dual mode, but I use DirectFTP for my main FTP program, and I select multiple files all the time for uploading and downloading both. I have both panes (local and remote) showing and I have the full buttons on the bottom since as you say we can't do just the FTP mode and still see the queue progress. How are you trying to do the multiple files? Usually you would just select them like any other Windows program using cntl-left mouse click, that works just fine for me, or the cntl-A to select all which also works fine for me.

I'm on Windows XP Pro SP3 in case that might make a difference.
