Having big issues with the newest version of Direct FTP. Week or so ago, it was not acting correctly as I posted in a previous forum post.

Today, somehow it isn't available on my computer after updating for the S-Drive yesterday. It disappeared from my start menu, it doesn't show up in coffeecup software programs, and even if I pin a link to the start menu or even the desktop, the computer cannot find the installed program.

I use Direct FTP almost daily. I figured today I would change some info on my 's-drive site pages' but there is a bug somewhere. I even re-downloaded it today, after uninstalling and it still does the same thing.

Big issues. If you haven't downloaded this version, might be a good idea to wait.

That doesn't sound like a Direct FTP issue. If files are disappearing off your computer, the leads more towards an operating system problem. I would suggest checking your computer for viruses and possibly run a registry cleaner. You maybe in the verge of a computer meltdown. ;)

Yeah sounds like computer issues to me too. I've been using the updated version of DFTP since the released date and I've had no issues like this at all. Eeeks, sounds pretty nasty too, I would definitely do what Scott suggests and I would also suggest you get the free version of Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org and give it a good scan (just the short scan is enough) as well as Ccleaner (registry and more cleaner) from http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner and good luck, I do hope you figure out what it is without too many issues.
