FTP won't remember me

Has anyone else had difficulties getting FTP to remember your server settings. Seems my copy will only remember them for the current session, when I close the program and reopen, they are gone.

I tried uninstalling, rebooted, and installed a newly downloaded copy, but still won't remember my servers.

I've been using FTP for years and never crossed this issue before??

If you run the program as Admin, does that help?

Mine disappeared on me today too so Scott had to rename an old backup SharedSettings.ccs file and so far it seems to be retaining the settings. I haven't rebooted to see if it will stay after that or not, but restarting the program has retained it so far.

Those files are located in C:\Users[username]AppData\Roaming

Look for: SharedSettings.ccs

Installed as Admin, and have the run as Admin in the compatibility settings of the properties for FTP, running WIN7 Pro

not remembering server settings, but connects and uploads fine if I give it the settings.

Try deleting the SharedSettings.ccs and then start Direct FTP and add a profile and then restart DFTP. Is it there?

Sorry for the late reply, been a heck of a week at school.

Deleting the sharedsettings file and letting FTP rebuild it worked, thanks ;)
