I was showing off the s-drive and building our site when my partner turned to me and said, "what if you wanted to use Dreamweaver as an editor?" To which I replied, "just set up the ftp info, here watch.....hey don't you have to pick up your rug rat now?"

I am sure you can do this, but what is the ftp setting? I just put in my e-mail addy and pw in all the coffeecup programs at this point LOL

Hiya Keith,

If you use CoffeeCup's DirectFTP or I think even the Free FTP they have, it is built into the program so you just tell it you want to connect to the S-Drive account that's already setup. I believe you need to input your email and pw from CoffeeCup's site when you first install the program so it's already setting up your S-Drive account in it for you to use the FTP.

That's all there is to it :)

Hi JoAnn,

I use all of CC's software, so I know how to use the CC FTP functions (and I am grateful for how easy they are). However, what I was asking was, what would be the FTP settings for an outside product's FTP settings (my partner likes to use Adobe Dreamweaver which used the Host / username / password setup)...?

You can only ftp to S-Drive with the compatible CC applications.;)
VSD, HTML Editor, Direct FTP, Free Direct FTP, Photo Gallery, Web Form Builder, SCCS, and SCCP.

Did I miss any?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

At this time you can only connect to S-Drive with CoffeeCup programs. We do not allow 3rd party applications to connect yet.

Has this position changed since this statement was made about 15 months ago?

I would prefer to use Filezilla but without the settings it is almost impossible.

No, The only way to connect to S-Drive is through CC products supporting it.:)

As a Mac user thats a pity, as Direct/Free FTP is not on Mac.

You can use our Web Editor for OS X to connect to S-Drive.
