Hello,

I can't get my Direct FTP program to upload files...
the program goes through the motions of uploading my selected local files, but when I check on the server they are nowhere to be found.

I may have chosen the wrong ftp account settings; or the problem may lie elsewhere. Sorry I can't be more specific than this but can anyone offer some troubleshooting clues to help guide me through this.

Most of the time it's as simple as making sure your settings are correct. ie. check 'passive mode'.
Or it could be that your server permissions are not set properly.

Thanks for the response, Gunsmoke. It's still paying tricks on me... sometimes the uploads work; sometimes they don't.

I'll come back to this one another time when I can formulate my questions properly.
