Now I've finally got my connection to work, but now another problem has shown up in the registered version of DirectFTP 6.7.

When I want to edit a file, I click edit and then a progress bar is shown. It says that the file transfer is finished, but it keeps "In Progress" for hours and therefore I cannot edit the file.

Is it because I am trying to edit a PHP file? Or what is else wrong?

have you tried double clicking on the document you want to edit, there should be no problem editing php.
