me too - Direct FTP has been working just fine, suddenly "skips" all file transfers. I am connected to the internet and DFTP connects to the remote host. What gives?

Hi All:

Out of a previous topic:

This can happen because you have the "skip" option selected and a file with the same name is stored in your server, so the file in the server keeps the same, and your new file do not upload. To change that you can go to Edit > Preferences and then to FTP tab. Select
your server at the drop down menu and click "-" to erase it and then click ok, or if the server is not at the drop down list (you have -default-), just select "Ask User" and click ok. Finally try to upload the file again. A window will ask you about what you want to do with your file, you have to select "overwrite" if you want to see the changes in your server.

For me this helped. How the "skip" option is selected, I never found out. Just from one to the other day I had the problem.

greetings,

I also keep getting the Status: "Skipped" and the RDIR transfer details.
I applied the solution from "Lex" and problem was solved.
However, I still don't know how it changed itself to "Skip" for the default.

It is possible that my "Ask User" previous selection was "Skip" and somehow it applied the change to the default. This happened to me on both the free and registered versions of coffeecup.

Anyone else hear from tech support on this bug?

Hi,
Has this "issue" been resolved yet? Bought the upgrade 30 minutes ago and unable to download anything. Tried everything that has been suggested here, but to no avail.

Hiya Christopher,

Are you experiencing the same exact problem as above or unable to connect or what issue do you have exactly?

I would suggest opening a support ticket Christopher so we can look into this for you.

I changed information on a page, and please note: I did not change the graphics. They are still the same. But the web is showing some graphics on the page and not others. The gif files are already on the server, and it seems they should show up on the page, but they don't. I have tried everything the others here have suggested, and I still get the "skipped" message.

The Preferences for the FTP shows that Ask User is checked.

Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Using ver 6.7 build 1822. I created a test folder, no problem; tried to upload to the empty test folder & it SKIPPED even though there was nothing there; then I tried to rename the folder, wouldn't allow me to.

Lex' solution worked for both problems. I've never used the skip option but it was set Is this a VSD setting perhaps?
I should have something clever to say... but I don't.
