Direct FTP - Some files not uploading...

Hey Team Coffeecup!

After months of happy working, my website (www.mrsharpetheteacher.com) has started misbehaving. Using Direct FTP, some files won't upload and I get the message "Failed: error # 18 - a file transfer was longer or shorter than expected".

This is new and has started cropping up on files which I previously had uploaded with no worries.

It only seems to be when uploading files to my "resources" folder, which itself has started throwing up 403 / 404 errors.

Finally, this problem seems to co-incide with my installing uTorrent - could this be related?

Over to you!

***updated***

Access to the folder has been restored through contact with my host - apparently turning on fancy indexing (whatever that is) fixed the problem. So no more 403/404 errors.

#18 issue still unresolved

I'd suggest backing up the folder, changing the name and then creating a new empty folder (even with the old name). upload a couple of files to it to see if it is reliable. If all goes well, upload the files to that new folder and hope for the best.
