I have tried on both a Windows 7 and Windows 8 pc and have gotten a message that says Sorry the action you are trying to complete has times out (28) Additional info: server response timeout.
Can you please help we have been down all morning.

Did you try changing some of your settings? Are you using Passive mode?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

My remote folder doesn't show anything in it

Who's your host? Every host has requirements for the remote folder in the server settings. I'm not sure if leaving it blank is valid. I use /public_html/ for several of my sites.
