this version of Direct FTP is extremely slow and laggy to me. It isnt my Laptop, Im running an IBM T60 with 3 Gigs of Ram. Very slow response, not responding half of the time.

no I havent, I just downloaded it, and started using it. Hrmmm I did just notice however I sitll have version 6 installed...which worked fine. Maybe there is a conflict in them both being installed.

Uninstalled both, and reinstalled 6.5 and lag is still there...seams whenever I select anything in the FTP site window the whole applet hangs up...I can browse through the local explorer window just fine with no lag.

Confirmed...Version 6.2 browses the FTP directories with no lag. after complete removal of all files, and registry then reinstallation of 6.2. I did not get any change in function with 6.5, browsing the FTP sight, even selecting files creates enough lag in the app for it to say "Not responding". Im running Windows XP SP2 plus few security patches.
